In a joint workshop of the modeling network for infectious diseases, three possible scenarios for the development of the Corona dynamics were simulated, compared, and analyzed by seven research groups using various models. Many MATH+ members are part of this network.
BMS Alumnus Sebastian Neumayer received the GIP Dissertation Prize 2022. The GIP (Gesellschaft für Inverse Probleme) awards the best PhD thesis in the field of "Inverse Problems" every two years.
MATH+ and BMS invite applications for the Dirichlet Postdoc Fellowship. The fellowship starts in Fall 2022 and runs for two years. The call is open to promising young mathematicians who will have received their PhD by 30 September 2022. Application deadline: 01 December 2021.
