International Conference in honor of the mathematician Emmy Noether at Freie Universität Berlin, June 3 to 5, 2019
From a mathematical, physical, scientific-theoretical, and historical perspective, the conference shed light on Noether’s significance to the present day. It also looks at the mechanisms of discrimination with which Emmy Noether, as a woman of Jewish origin, was confronted in the German science system.
