In October 2006, the DFG announced that the BMS would receive funding as a graduate school within the “Excellence Initiative.” 20 years later, we are happy and proud to celebrate not only the 20th anniversary of the BMS, but also to mark this milestone by launching the 2nd funding period of Cluster of Excellence MATH+.

Celebrations will begin with MATH+ Day, and include a Celebration Ceremony on 17 November and a two-day conference featuring outstanding keynote speakers and BMS alumni.
