Each December, while others indulge in hiding chocolates, MATH+ engages high school students, university students, teachers, and all math enthusiasts with challenging mathematical brainteasers.

The MATH+ Advent calendar comprises 24 puzzles, released daily from 01-24 December in both German and English. In a simple yet enjoyable manner, these puzzles illustrate that math is not only fascinating and creative but also highly useful. Each year, the puzzles are crafted by MATH+ researchers and their colleagues from the Dutch initiative 4TU.AMI.

Participation in the MATH+ Advent Calendar is open and free of charge for everyone: individual players and classes.

The most diligent participants stand a chance to win one of the many great prizes.

The festive award ceremony is scheduled for 26 January 2024, at the Freie Universität Berlin.
