BMS Alumnus Sebastian Neumayer received the GIP Dissertation Prize 2022. The GIP (Gesellschaft für Inverse Probleme) awards the best PhD thesis in the field of "Inverse Problems" every two years.
MATH+ and BMS invite applications for the Dirichlet Postdoc Fellowship. The fellowship starts in Fall 2022 and runs for two years. The call is open to promising young mathematicians who will have received their PhD by 30 September 2022. Application deadline: 01 December 2021.

The MATH+ Central Office is looking for a student assistant. The position is part of the “MATH+ Advent Calendar“ and is intended to assist MATH+ scientists in publishing their research-related assignments and riddles for the calendar.
The MATH+ Central Office is looking for a motivated team member to cover the parental leave of our BMS FU Liaison Officer. Central tasks include the advising of BMS students with regard to the utilization of academic resources, and navigation of university and departmental policies.
