Description

We develop an analytic framework for evolution integro-partial differential equations (IPDE) modelling active segregation in embryonic tissue. The IPDE are derived via mean-field limits from heterogeneous finite cell systems and validated computationally using experimental data. Our ultimate goal is to understand how cellular heterogeneity influences spatial organisation.
