AA3 – Next Generation Networks

Decomposing a piecewise linear complex into a tetrahedral mesh may require adding additional vertices on the boundary or inside the domain — so-called Steiner points. The number and position of Steiner points significantly impacts the efficacy of the resulting mesh. The project tackles the mathematical and algorithmic problems of finding good Steiner points.
