Interview with MATH+ Member Jens Eisert on the State of Quantum Computing and Artificial Intelligence

© Eisert

Jens Eisert conducts research in the field of quantum information and the physics of complex quantum systems. Both fields are more closely related than initially assumed. To a certain extent, quantum computers are highly technically developed quantum systems that allow an enormous amount of control. Natural solid-state systems are also physical systems whose components obey quantum mechanical simple rules: But it is also very difficult to find out exactly what properties result when these components interact. In an interview with DIGITALE WELT journal, he gives an overview of the current state of development in the field of quantum computing and AI.
