Activity Group for Mathematics in the Humanities and Social Sciences

In recent years, the emergence of “Digital Humanities” and “Computational Social Sciences” has highlighted the need for computational approaches and mathematical frameworks in these disciplines. The “Mathematics in the Humanities and Social Sciences” activity group fosters interdisciplinary research by leveraging innovative mathematical approaches and methods to advance research in Humanities and Social Sciences. Through lecture series, workshops and seminars, our aim is to provide a platform for knowledge exchange and scientific discussions.
