Description

We develop an anisotropic topology optimization framework for carbonfiber-reinforced additive manufacturing. The model combines phase-field topology optimization with fiber-orientation-dependent elasticity and accounts for manufacturing-induced uncertainties in material behavior. To accelerate repeated elasticity solves, we construct adaptive Galerkin neural-network surrogates for the parameter-to-solution map.
